Everyone knows who Telgi is. Let us just say, he drained $10 Billion in revenue of some state governments. States like Karnataka has ZERO revenues for almost 4-5 years because Telgi fraudlently sold fake "stamp duty papers" and pocketed the entire money and of course spread it around to his friends, family and politicans.
Somehow, we still afford to go on living a life like nothing happened. Helpless, tired, frustrated and struggling to cope up with our own realities of flood, drought, bad roads, poor infrastructure, corruption at all levels. hmmmph!!!

Reminds me of a funny incident at work when i was a fresher - my seniors were about to give the legal go ahead to a company for coming up with an IPO after scrutinising all its legal documents and compliance certificates. On the last day of the due diligence excercise I happened to look at the complete set of stamped documents of that company and realised that most of them were in the name of Telgi.....the paranoia relating to this name was so great in our minds, that when i pointed this out to the higher ups we re-did the whole excercise and refused to okay the IPO. THE COMPANY HAS TO DATE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GO PUBLIC!!!!
